Southwest Airlines is set to launch daily flights to flint from Las Vegas. The airlines in a press meet announced that from August 11, 2013 it will fly once daily nonstop from Flint, Michigan to Las Vegas, California. At present these are connecting flights between Flint and Las Vegas.
Currently served by AirTran Airways Bishop International Airport in Flint will be served by Southwest Airline flights from April 14 this year. Over the past few months, Southwest has been synchronizing airports operated by AirTran Airways.
To celebrate this new service the airline is offering introductory fares to passengers for a limited period of time. Maiden flight from Bishop International Airport will also include nonstop flights to Orlando, Baltimore/Washington and Tampa Bay.
